With 54 kHz, the ORX is extremely sensitive to small objects such as fine jewelry. The HF24 search coil even goes one step further with a maximum frequency of an impressive 81 kHz, which allows the search for tiny gold nuggets. These two coils also differ in size, with the HF24 coil having a diameter of 24 cm, somewhat larger than the HF22 with 22 cm.
