The term “MAX” stands for maximum performance and maximum search pleasure. This device marks a milestone in the series as it is the first model equipped with radio headphones. The Garrett AT MAX is just as user-friendly as the Garrett AT Pro, but offers additional functions and can therefore be considered a further development of the AT Pro.

The Garrett AT MAX is particularly suitable for searching for coins, jewelry and historical relics, but is also suitable for use under water. The AT Max is an all-terrain detector that offers maximum performance in various environments such as forests, meadows, beaches and even in water. Similar to its little brother, the AT MAX is waterproof up to a depth of 3 meters and is therefore suitable for shallow water search.

The Z-Lynk wireless technology allows almost delay-free sound transmission (with a maximum delay of 17 ms). This technology is six times faster than Bluetooth headphones and four times faster than other wireless headphones. It eliminates cable clutter and interference with other wireless devices. The Garrett MS-3 headphones are equipped with high-quality Z-Lynk wireless technology and offer an excellent sound experience.

The AT MAX offers impressive depth power due to its increased transmission power and improved electronics, which lifts it above the AT Pro and many other detectors. The true all-metal mode displays all metals and offers maximum performance both in terms of depth and small objects. The backlight of the display allows the use of the detector in the dark or bad weather.

The AT MAX works with a frequency of 13.6 kHz, which allows excellent recognition of objects such as jewelry, coins, gold, silver, brass and more. The automatic and manually adjustable ground balance improves performance when searching in different soil conditions, including salty beach and highly mineralized soils.

The larger display numbers of the AT MAX offer the user more comfort than the AT Pro. The handle of the Garrett AT Max is non-slip and offers high comfort during the search. The detector has a volume control that allows the user to adjust the volume for both headphones and speakers.

The AT MAX offers four different search modes, including the True All-Metal mode, user search mode, coin mode and zero mode to meet the needs of different users. The 15 x 28 cm DD Viper search coil allows searching in small, difficult to access areas as well as in fields, sandy beaches and wet areas.

Compared to AT Pro, AT MAX offers improved search performance, processor performance, control value display, adjustable volume, four search modes, multiple frequency channels and better function in salt-containing water and highly mineralized soils.
