The quality of Nokta is shown in the Midi Hoard, which is waterproof and can be used up to 1 meter under water. This allows your little adventurer to safely explore the beach and the waterfront. The detector has an armrest that increases the comfort when the detector is pivoted, a stable base, a telescopic linkage that can be set from 82 to 109 cm, and an 18 cm / 7″ search coil including coil protection. With a search frequency of 15 kHz, the search coil provides an optimal search depth for children aged 8 to 12 years.
The operation of the Midi Hoard is conceivable simply because it has only three keys. The right button is used to turn on and off the detector and to activate and deactivate the iron discrimination. The middle button allows the pinpoint function, with which it can be precisely determined where a detected object is located. A clear display with symbols indicates what kind of object it could be under the earth. For example, the left block provides information about the presence of nails, screws or horseshoes (iron objects), the middle block about coins, rings, pull-off tabs or aluminum foil, and the right block about coins, beer lids or pull-off tabs. You can also read the depth of the detected object in three segments and check the charging status of the two AA batteries using the battery display.
The Midi Hoard also offers the possibility to adjust the volume to two positions and to adjust the sensitivity/such depth to three positions.
