Built-in gyro sensor

With the V80, you can activate the automatic ground balance without manual buttons by moving the detector up and down at one place without metal movements. The integrated gyro sensor detects this movement and then automatically performs the ground compensation. Another useful function makes it possible to automatically activate the energy-saving mode if the search coil is not moved for 5 seconds and to automatically disable it when it is moved again.

Display

The display of the V80 is backlit in several stages to ensure clear readability of the information in bright sunlight. In contrast to conventional matrix pixel displays, the reflective LCD consumes less power, increasing battery life so you can search longer.

Compact design

The V80 has a 4-piece carbon telescopic rod, which is extremely compact and can be retracted to only 49 cm, making transport and storage easier. The armrest can be slightly displaced or removed from the handle, and the handle to which the control device is attached can be easily adjusted. After you set it up and adjust it to your size, the V80 design is perfectly balanced and ensures a comfortable search experience.

Blizzard search coil

The V80 is standard equipped with the latest 28 x 26 cm Blizzard11 search coil. This robust double-D search coil allows deeper penetration depth and provides increased resistance to mineralized soils. Optionally, a 24 x 14 cm Blizzard9 search coil is also available, which is delivered in the Double Blizzard V80 bundle together with the Blizzard11 search coil.

Different tone settings

The V80 offers the opportunity to identify buried objects using sounds. You can select the number of different tones you want to hear and choose between 2, 3, 5 and 99 tones. In addition, you can adjust the sound thresholds for these sounds, e.g. a deep sound for target IDs from 1 to 25, an average sound from 26 to 70 and a high sound from 71 to 99. You also have full control over volume and pitch for each sound.

Built-in lithium battery

The V80 has an integrated 5600mAh lithium battery that can be easily charged with the supplied USB-Type C charging cable and offers an impressive operating time of 10 to 15 hours.

Automatic interference suppression

With the V80 you can quickly and easily perform a single-button interference suppression that identifies the frequency channel in just 10 seconds on which only minimal or no disturbances occur.

Fully waterproof

The modern design of the V80 ensures complete watertightness up to a depth of 5 meters. This allows use in all weather conditions and in different terrains, even under water. After a dirty search or use in salt water, you can rinse the detector without any problems under the faucet.
