SEARCH SYSTEMS

1 – Automatic Long-Range-Locator [AUTO LRL]

The AUTO LRL search system uses a special probe called Intelligent Multi Transceiver Unit or I.M.T.U to search for signals from potential targets within the wide-ranging scan field, and the reflected signals are received via an antenna pair. It is an advanced search system that covers large areas of the search area and this system has the ability to automatically identify all types of buried metals within a scan range of up to 3000 m and depths up to 100 m and the results in the form of values that indicate the percentage of discovered targets in the vicinity of the prospector.

Here is a list of settings that can be customized by the user:

Distance: It is the distance in the front area or the search direction and can be set in the range 0 – 3000 m.

Depth: This is the maximum depth of possible targets that the device can achieve to find potential targets. The value can be set in the range from 0 to 100 m.

After selecting the previous settings, the user can start the search process, and during the search, the antennas move to the left or right, depending on possible targets. A visual display on the screen guides the user through the display of a left or right progress bar with gradient from green (minimum) to red (maximum). The user must track the movement of the antennas. After finished, he can go to the next screen “report” that displays a visual report about a possible target as four horizontal bars (Gold – Silver – Iron – Diamond). Each bar indicates an estimated percentage value which indicates the probability of the target composition.

2 – Long-Range-Locator control [CTRL LRL]

The frequency control system is one of the new technologies and important functions that have been integrated into Viper and allows the user to choose the exact value of the search frequency to search for any kind of goals that the prospector tries to achieve and find more accurate results. When searching with this system, the user can also set different other values and settings related to the search, such as search frequency, ground type and front distance.

Type of soil: Stone, Neutral, Mixed, Metallic, Sandy, Mineral, Chalk, Salty.

Frequency: With this option, the user can manually set the custom search frequency value. The value range is between 100 and 5000 MHz.

Distance: This is the maximum distance between the user’s location and the target position during the search process from 0 to 3000 m.

Depth: The value can be set in the range from 0 to 50 m.

The result screen indicates a circular indicator, the directional arrow reflects the direction of the antennas in degrees, including the signal curve and the inclination bar. A small digital compass is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen and shows north.

3 – Manual Long-Range-Locator [MANUAL LRL]

This search system uses the Intelligent Multi Transceiver Unit or IMTU, which sends high-frequency wave signals in search direction and receives the reflected signals via an antenna pair. In this system it is possible to specify the type or program of the target to be searched. This system contains separate search programs that can be selected from the list of objectives.

Objective: The user can select the target type from preset search programs that contain all types of iron and non-ferrous metals. Examples: Gold, Silver, Copper, Diamonds, Gemstones.

Distance: The distance value reflects the scanning field in the forward direction in a range between 0 – 3000 meters.

Depth: The maximum search depth in the range from 0 to 50 meters.

Among the important functions that allow the user to precisely and correctly adjust the angle of inclination of the device is the inclination display, which represents the degree of inclination of the device relative to the horizon: green color indicates correct values and red color for wrong values.

4 – Ionian System [IONIC]

The ion system has been developed according to a completely new technology, which is the first of its kind in metal detectors. The new technology provides accurate detection of ion fields originating from underground buried metal targets, thanks to the Intelligent Multi Transceiver Unit (IMTU), which ensures accurate reception and accurate signal processing.

Sensitivity: The user can change the sensitivity value to analyze the output tone, its value range is between 0 and 100.

Gain: The user can control the signal strength with this option and it is displayed as a percentage value (0-100). To set the device to detect large targets, reduce this value; increase this value for detecting small targets.

5 – Bionic System [BIONIC]

This search system is similar to the ionic search system and uses the Intelligent Multi Transceiver Unit (I.M.T.U.) to perform the scan. The difference is that ionic signals are detected by a specific metallic object. For example, gold, then the search is directed to the detection of ionic signals that resemble the metal objects buried underground in the environment.

Sensitivity: The user can change the sensitivity value to analyze the output tone, its value range is between 0 and 100.

Gain: The user can control the signal strength with this option and it is displayed as a percentage value (0-100).

6 – Intelligent detection system [SMART DETECT]

The intelligent detection system is the perfect choice for gold seekers to find natural gold nuggets, small relics, jewelry, coins and other metal types at low depths of about 3 meters or less. Developed with improved technology in terms of functions, metal deposition and two search coils (PS36, PS28) to provide best performance in all terrain and soil types.

Mode 1 – PS36: Use the PS36 (a 36 cm diameter coil) to detect targets.

• Calibration: Perform calibration of the coils before starting the search.
• Detection mode: All Metals (general recognition mode), Non-ferrous (filters to only receive signals from gold, silver and copper), Iron (receives only signals from iron targets).
• Sound: Activate or deactivate sound output via the internal speaker.
• Target ID display: Circular digital graphical indicator with a number corresponding to a specific metal type.
• Threshold: Controls the sound threshold of the received signals with values from 1 to 6.

Mode 2 – PS28: Use the PS28 (a coil with a diameter of 28 cm) to detect targets.

• Sensitivity: Left vertical display, 9 stages.
• Threshold: Right vertical indicator, 9 values.
• Signal indicator: Graphical indicator displaying Target ID number and FE/NONFE indicators based on metal type.

Modern software program

The user interface of the Viper software program has been designed according to the latest modern software technologies in an appealing modern design with a uniform color theme and graphic symbols that make the search systems, options and settings easy to understand for beginners or professional users. When designing the screens and controls, the best user experience policies have been taken into account.

Search system screen

The user can choose between 6 different search systems.

Language screen

Date & Time Settings

The device displays a digital clock continuously on the top right of the screen. Search files are automatically stored with a name containing the date and time.

Display settings

Energy saving mode: Set the time to turn off the screen when no button is pressed. Screen: Control the brightness value.

Sound settings

General sound (controls general volume), Button (adjusts volume of control panel buttons), Scan Sound (volume of scanning tools).

Performance

Use this option to save power and battery energy during device usage. Battery life is at least 50% depending on search system and sensor type.

Reset

Reset settings: Reset general settings without deleting saved scan files. Factory settings: Reset to factory settings and delete stored files. Delete Memory: Clean memory from all stored files.
