Its 61 kHz search frequency makes it extremely sensitive to even the smallest gold nuggets, but it also easily manages larger gold lumps. The Gold Finder 2000 is a “switch on and go” device and is one of the simplest detectors in its class. In addition, it automatically performs ground balancing, which saves valuable time.

Robust design and splash water protection

The Gold Finder 2000 is solid and well balanced. Its telescopic linkage can be easily adjusted to the desired length, and it can be folded compactly to facilitate transport. The armrest can be easily adapted. The included search coils are completely waterproof so you can even search in the water. The control unit is splash-proof, which means that you can search carefree even in rain, but you should not completely submerge the control unit under water.

Supplied search coils

The Gold Finder 2000 comes with two different search coils. On the one hand, there is the 26 x 14 cm concentric search coil (GF26C) with which you can scan the gold fields quickly and deeply. On the other hand, there is the 13 cm high DD search coil (GF13), which reacts particularly sensitively to tiny gold nuggets and allows you to pinpoint more precisely.

Discrimination and search modes

With Gold Finder 2000, you can either ignore or discriminate against iron by changing the search mode. In search mode 1, search for all metals, while in search mode 2 iron is ignored.

Automatic ground compensation

If you are worried about how to perform the ground balance correctly and if you can delay this when buying a gold detector, you don’t need to worry. The Gold Finder 2000 performs the ground compensation fully automatically when switching on, without having to make settings.

Lighting

The Gold Finder 2000 has a display illumination to keep the display easily readable at dusk or in dark environments. The search coil is also illuminated so you can see the place where you are searching at night.

Integrated battery and external battery compartment

The Gold Finder 2000 has a built-in battery that you can easily charge via a USB cable. The battery offers an operating time of about 20 hours after complete charging. If you are searching for a longer time in the wild without having access to a power supply, you can continue your search with the supplied waterproof external battery box. In the battery compartment there are 4 AA batteries that you can mount under the armrest of Gold Finder 2000.

Audio possibilities

The Gold Finder 2000 has a built-in loudspeaker and comes with a 2.4 GHz wireless speaker as well as a 6.3 mm cable headphone. If you want a wireless connection to the Gold Finder, you can connect the cable headphones to the supplied wireless speaker, which then communicates wirelessly with the Gold Finder. Alternatively, you can also order the wireless 2.4 GHz Green Edition headphones that are also compatible with the Gold Finder.
