The Legend is a metal detector of the absolute top class and offers you all the features you have dreamed of so far – and at an affordable price!

New improvements in the version

In the latest version of The Legend, some exciting improvements are presented. Instead of the original 28 cm LG28 DD search coil, the impressive 30 x 23 cm LG30 DD search coil is now delivered. This larger search coil provides improved coverage, faster response time and higher depth performance. Despite its size, it is even lighter than the previous LG28 search coil. In addition, the new version has a medium carbon rod and a reworked armrest, which means that the new model is 126 g lighter overall than the older model.

SMF Simultaneous multi-frequency technology

Nokta’s latest SMF multi-frequency technology allows users to search at all frequencies simultaneously. However, they also have the possibility to select a certain search frequency, including 4, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz. Low frequencies enable deeper searches and are ideal for large, deep objects, while high frequencies are ideal for the precise detection of small objects in flat layers. If you choose one of the SMF Simultaneous Multi Frequency Modes, you can search at all frequencies from 4 to 40 kHz simultaneously. The Legend then combines the advantages of all search frequencies so that you can find small objects better and locate larger objects even deeper. Even salt minerals on beaches and in salt water are easily ignored by the legend. However, you also have the option to select a single search frequency that best fits your specific application.

Complete waterproof

The Legend is completely waterproof according to IP68 and can be used in depths of up to 3 meters under water. This opens up completely new ways to look at places where nobody has ever been looking. In addition, the watertightness makes cleaning much easier because you can rinse the device without any problems.

Integrated Bluetooth

Although an integrated Bluetooth module is present, Bluetooth headphones are not included in the standard package. However, these can be purchased separately at any time in our webshop.

Ferro-Check

A unique feature of the legend is the Ferro Check, which shows the ratio of iron to non-iron in a buried object. This allows you to better identify objects before excavation and minimize unwanted finds such as crown corks.

Four search programs

The Legend offers four search programs: park, field, beach and gold field. Each program has been specially designed to meet the requirements of different search environments.

Robust construction and replaceable batteries

The Legend is characterized by its sturdy design and has a lower and medium carbon rod. It is compact for transport and can be easily adjusted to the desired length. The legend has a built-in battery that can be charged via USB and offers the possibility to mount an external battery under the armrest to extend the operating time. Note that the external battery is not included in the standard and WHP package, but in the Pro package.

Extensive sound settings with polyphonic tones

The legend offers a variety of sound settings and polyphonic tones. You can choose the number of different tones you want to use and adjust their position along the guide value scale individually. The pitch and volume can also be adjusted, and there is even the possibility of converting the detector to vibration, ideal for underwater search.

Built-in watch and user time

The legend has a built-in watch that shows you the current time and the operating time of the detector. This keeps you an overview, even during your search activities.

Recovery speed, lighting and software updates

With the legend you can adjust the recovery speed to meet your individual requirements. The display lighting and search coil lighting allow searching in poor lighting conditions. In addition, the Legend software can be updated to ensure that your detector is always up-to-date.
