COBRA GX-8000 Plus features
5 search systems
Anyone looking for treasure often needs advanced technology. Ortungsgeräte with a wide range are indispensable tools to find hidden treasures from a distance. The Cobra GX-8000 Plus has two positioning systems with a wide range – one for single use and one for two teams. In addition, it contains innovative detection systems: The Ionic System analyzes atmospheric ions to identify buried treasures, the Bionic System uses biometric sensors to detect biological signatures in harsh environments, and the Ion System offers an environmentally friendly approach by localizing areas with increased ion concentration. Finally, the 3D floor scan system offers a detailed view of the terrain, so that users can visualize underground structures and potential treasures. The data can be accessed via an Android app.
1 – Long-range positioning system for individuals
With this search system, a single operator can search large areas within a radius of 2000 meters and depths of up to 50 meters below the earth. It uses copper handles with antennas and a ground frequency generator to detect various metal types. Users can adjust settings for metal type, soil condition, distance and depth for optimized searches. The single-person long-distance tracking device designed for single-person adventurers is a reliable companion for people who venture into the unknown.
This system is useful in finding large open areas and if the prospector and the seeker have no idea of a possible destination. This system is used by the prospector to limit the search for buried targets to the smallest possible area. Before the start of the search, different search settings can be set.
TARGET: The user can choose from 12 search programs and thus specify the type of metal he wants to recognize. These may be both iron and non-ferrous metals.
Available programs:
- Gold shark
- Gold
- Gold wire
- Silver
- Bronze
- Copper
- Diamond
- Platinum
- Iron
- Cavity
GROUND: With this setting, the user can select the soil type from the available options to achieve more accurate results: Rocky, Sandy, Normal, Wet, High Mineral Content, Low Mineral Content, Snow.
DISTANCE: Here, users can change the front scan distance by selecting a search range between 0 and 2000 meters and adjusting the value with the left and right arrow keys on the control panel.
DEPTH: Users can also set the maximum search depth of the device, with values ranging from 0 to 50 meters. You can increase or decrease this value with the left and right arrow keys on the control panel.
After all previous settings have been selected, the device displays an overview page with all previously selected settings. The user can press the OK button to continue searching for targets.
2 – Double (dual) person long-distance tracking system
For those who prefer to find riches, the long-haul order recipient is the perfect solution for two people. Since this system can accommodate two users at the same time, it promotes cooperation and teamwork and thus increases the effectiveness of treasure hunt expeditions. Through synchronized operation and extended coverage, partners can explore remote areas more efficiently and thus maximize opportunities to discover valuable treasures.
This search mode is designed for simultaneous use by two users with a set of copper handles. Each handle has two copper wires: A handle has connections for connection to a connecting unit via a cable to the long-range unit, while the other handle held by the second user has no connections. After users have selected this system from the long-range search submenu, they can adjust the search settings in the same way as the individual system.
3 – Ionic / Ion system
This system uses ion technology and explores the hidden realm of atmospheric ions to release buried treasures and ancient relics. By analyzing subtle fluctuations in the ion concentration, the ion system recognizes anomalies that point to hidden treasures and leads explorers with impressive accuracy to potential hotspots. Its ability to penetrate the Earth’s surface and locate metallic objects makes it an indispensable tool for archaeologists and treasure hunters. The ion system follows an environmentally friendly approach and changes the way explorers discover hidden riches. Through the analysis of atmospheric ionization patterns, it identifies areas with increased ion concentration that indicate buried treasures. Its non-invasive method reduces ecological disorders and is therefore ideal for conscientious adventurers who have committed themselves to protecting the natural environment and at the same time make exciting discoveries.
This system with two modes (Ionic and Ion) uses a new Ionic unit that is wirelessly connected to the main unit. The Ionic unit uses an I.B.I sensor to detect signals from buried targets, and displays on its screen two visual indicators: target and cavity. These indicators appear as vertical 2D progress bars and show percentage values based on received signals. The target progress bar is color-coded from green to red, while the cavity progress bar extends from green to blue depending on the signal strength.
The main difference between the ionic mode and the ion mode is that only the target progress bar is active in the ion mode. This means that the device concentrates exclusively on detecting metal targets and ignores cavity signals.
4 – Bionic system
By combining advanced biometric sensors with innovative algorithms, the bionic system explores new ways of treasure hunt using biological signatures. By analyzing subtle physiological indications of living organisms or organic materials, this system discovers hidden treasures with exceptional accuracy, even in difficult environments such as dense forests or under water.
This search system works similar to the ionic search system, but has a significant difference: It records bionic signals from certain metallic objects such as gold. The search then focuses on the detection of bionic signals from similar metal objects buried in the environment. In contrast to the ionic system that performs a random search, the bionic system aims at predefined signals based on a specific target type.
In order to detect the first signal, the user directs the I.B.I sensor head to the metal object of the desired target type and presses the start button on the device handle to determine the target type. Users can stabilize the direction of the device on the scanned object by means of the laser light, which ensures precise alignment for signal detection.
The bionic system has intuitive screen displays that guide the user during the detection process.
Green circle of motion: If no signals are detected, a green movement circuit is displayed which indicates that the sensor is active but does not receive any relevant signals.
Red indicator: When a signal is detected that resembles the target previously detected, the display stabilizes and becomes red. This is accompanied by an acoustic alarm that signals that a potential target has been found.
These indicators allow users to follow the direction of the device to the metal object accurately. A laser light is used for precise alignment. When a signal appears, users can confirm their accuracy by revising the original metal object and repeating the process.
5 – 3D scanning system
Cobra GX-8000 Plus presents the latest tool for treasure hunters: the state-of-the-art 3D floor scan system. This groundbreaking technology changes the way adventurers explore the terrain by providing a detailed three-dimensional view of what lies below it. Unlike conventional methods based on single-point measurements, the 3D ground scanning system offers a comprehensive perspective so that users can visualize underground structures, anomalies and potential treasure finds with exceptional clarity.
With advanced sensors and imaging algorithms, this system captures complex data about the underground environment and generates 3D images. It also includes the Android application Geoground 3D Analyzer, which users can install on their phones or tablets so that they can view and analyze the terrain from anywhere.
The 3D ground scan system uses an I.B.I sensor to perform scans of specific target ranges. The collected data and measurements are then transferred to an Android smartphone or tablet using the Geoground 3D Analyzer app. This app shows a 3D visualization of the scanned data and highlights the detailed structures of the range with different colors that correspond to specific target types such as iron or non-ferrous metals and cavities.
Geoground 3D Analyzer
The Geoground 3D Analyzer app provides a user-friendly interface for connecting to smartphones or tablet devices so that users can easily select their device and grant the necessary permissions. After the connection, the app offers a comprehensive setting screen where users can customize the soil scan settings – such as path, direction, type, lines and pulse – to their specific target and area.
This adjustment improves scanning accuracy and allows the app to effectively analyze data and deliver optimal results. Overall, the Geoground 3D Analyzer app optimizes the scanning process and improves user experience by enabling precise and detailed visualizations of underground structures. The app’s visual tools allow users to analyze 3D visualization to get detailed information about potential buried targets, including their position, type, depth and more, all based on visual indicators and features.
User-friendly, multilingual interface
The device software program on the main unit and the Ionic unit has an appealing graphical user interface with intuitive symbols and control elements, so that it is accessible even for beginners in metal detection. Users can easily customize different settings such as search system, distance, depth, soil type and more.
The device software is available in several languages, including: German, English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Persian, Turkish, Russian. Users can select their preferred language on the settings screen. In addition, users can control the volume of the device and adjust the screen brightness to different light conditions, whether in sunlight or darkness.
