Handling of the water and cavity detector GeoSeeker Mini

The water detector GeoSeeker Mini is operated with touchscreen. After selecting the desired measurement depth and the number of measurement points, simply follow the graphical instructions on the display. The use of pure visual language, i.e. the use of easily understandable images and symbols, makes the GeoSeeker Mini usable for all languages.

During the measurement, the individual electrodes must be repositioned several times to determine the ground resistance at specific points of the measuring field. All instructions are displayed on the color display, where at the end of each individual measurement passage the measured values themselves are also displayed. At the end of each measurement, a 2D representation of the measured values determined is generated and displayed.

Improved representation of the measurement data of water deposits and cavities with OKM GeoSeeker Mini

After the geoelectric measurement with the water finder GeoSeeker Mini, the data are processed and displayed in a multicolored 2D diagram. With the aid of the pictograms (shown in the lower display area), users can now directly read whether the colors in the scheme indicate water deposits (blue with water drops) or detected cavities (red with tunnel symbol).

Depending on the selected measuring depth, you can detect underground water deposits and cavities up to 100 meters (328 ft) depth. Depending on the selection of the size and depth of the measurement, the representation contains several columns and is provided with corresponding depths.

The left button (water drop) and the middle button (hollow space) allow to display simplified representations of the measurement results. Between the displays can be changed.

GeoSeeker Mini Simplified Display: The detector has recognized a low resistance value in the middle of the measuring field, which indicates high conductivity, i.e. water deposits.

GeoSeeker Mini Simplified Display: The detector has recognized a high resistance value in the middle of the measuring field, which indicates a cavity.

GeoSeeker Mini Simplified Display: From the representation of the detected water occurrence, the further measurement results – cavity and 2D diagram – can be displayed via the buttons.

Selection of the display: Inactive buttons indicate that no water and/or cavity has been detected. In this case, the 2D diagram is available as an overview of the measurement data.

Thanks to the simple step-by-step guide and the representation of the results in images and pictograms, the GeoSeeker Mini can be used independently of the language and can also be used by inexperienced users.

Geoelectric Applications with GeoSeeker Mini

The geoelectric detector OKM GeoSeeker Mini is essentially used to search for underground water resources and hidden cavities. Both structures can be located with respect to the electrical resistance due to their specific distinguishability.

Underground water deposits have a good electrical conductivity which leads to a low resistance value. The ability to locate water is particularly useful for:
