3D floor scanner and metal detector for highest standards

The eXp 6000 floor scanner and metal detector is one of the top detectors of OKM for treasure hunters, archaeologists, gold seekers and floor examiners. The professional detector is completely wireless and can be controlled via touchscreen, video glasses or notebook. It is the world’s first 3D floor scanner to use the innovative OKM telescope probe that can be extended up to 124 cm wide.

Color display and touchscreen

The control unit with touchscreen and multilingual graphical user interface (GUI) is very easy to use. Various layouts and automatic brightness control allow the user to efficiently operate the detector even in different ambient light conditions.

Telescopic linkage with removable GPS receiver

The telescopic linkage can be adapted to the body size of the user with few handles. The armrest is equipped with additional cushions for more ergonomics during treasure hunt. At the handle there is a trigger knock with which the measurement can be controlled. The protective cap on the handle can be replaced by the GPS receiver included in the delivery. At the lower end of the telescopic linkage, the probes can be fast and easily fastened by magnetic connection.

Exchangeable probes for different applications

Like many high-quality technical products, the eXp 6000 probes are made from carbon. This extremely robust and lightweight material allows treasure hunters to use the detector even more easily and more comfortably. In addition, the probes establish a wireless data connection to the treasure detector in order to send the scan data directly to the control unit.

Telescopic probe

This innovative probe can be pulled up to 124 cm and is perfectly suited to pick both large areas and narrow areas. So treasure hunters need only one probe and do not have to carry any additional accessories.

Supersonde

This special ground measurement probe is one of the best on the market. With this probe, the distinction and localization of buried objects is easily possible.

Tunnel probe

This measuring probe can be used with the 3D metal detector to detect hidden tunnels, chambers, cellars, bunkers, caves and many other underground cavities and structures.

Live stream probe

This ground measurement probe transmits measurement data immediately to the eXp 6000 display to see underground objects in real time. In this way, the user of the 3D floor scanner can quickly investigate a large area to find potential underground target objects.

Exclusive to the eXp 6000: orientation sensor

The orientation sensor helps treasure hunters to keep the probe correct during the measurement. A symbol on the screen and an acoustic signal warn as soon as the probe is held at an unfavorable angle. Only correct alignment of the probe guarantees reliable measurement results.

Save and analyze scan data

The scan data recorded in the Mineral Scan, Tunnel Scan and 3D Ground Scan operating modes can be stored directly in the internal memory of the eXp 6000. After completion of the measurement, the user can open the stored scan files for direct analysis on the eXp 6000 control unit or transfer the .v3d files to a computer for detailed analysis.

3D analysis in the detection software

The treasure hunter receives a first look at his scan data directly during the measurement process on the screen of the control unit. After completion and storage of the measurement, the treasure hunter receives a graphic representation of the scan field with color-labeled target objects. This scan image can be viewed directly on the touch screen of the control unit in 2D and 3D and rotated and scaled.

Thanks to the supplied 3D software Visualizer 3D Studio Professional Edition, the collected measurement data can then be evaluated in detail on the computer. Thus, depth, position and size of target objects can be determined and potential treasure finds can be marked and supplemented with notes.

Targets right in front of eyes thanks to video glasses

In addition to the touch screen, the user of the floor scanner eXp 6000 can also control the metal detector with the video glasses. With this, the treasure hunter can concentrate even better on the environment and better detect obstacles in the scanning field during the measurement. In the projection directly in front of his eye, he simultaneously receives the already recorded scan data.

Optional accessories: Android tablet, Windows Notebook and Power Pack

Both the Android tablet and the Windows Notebook can be used in addition to the control unit and allow other users to view the 3D floor recordings during the measurement. The Windows Notebook with installed Visualizer 3D Studio software also allows detailed scan analyses.

The Power Pack (version D/C) provides additional energy for the detector. With the additional Power Pack, the treasure hunter can charge the control unit and the telescopic linkage on the move and extend the operating time of the detector even during the ground measurement.
